Ponds/Rockeries

Ponds are a great feature within any garden. You may prefer a formal pond or perhaps a natural pond that will attract wildlife. Fed by a waterfall using a pump and filtration system helps maintain water quality and provides oxygen to the resident aquatic life. The use of water features in the garden provides a new environment for wildlife and vegetation. Slow flowing streams can be used as links between waterfalls and ponds and are another interesting way of using water within the garden. Waterfalls or features of various sizes can add just the slightest soothing sounds to the garden.

Large rockeries and walling are great ways of improving otherwise unusable steep banks or areas of the garden, planted with alpines and shrubs. Ponds and waterfalls are a nice additional feature within rockeries.
